The Houston Astros forces a Game 7 against the Tampa Bay Rays

Houston, TX- The Houston Astros have defined all of the odds stacked against them and extended the series to a winner takes all Game 7 match up against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Despite the slow start that the Astros have had against the Rays in this series, they have come back from a three game hole to push the series to a do or die game. They are the second team in MLB history to force a game seven after being down three in a best of seven series.

"We are relentless, and when we said we didn't want to go home, we really meant it," Carlos Correa said. "But if we don't win one more then this all has meant nothing. When we were down three games the atmosphere in the clubhouse was the same as if we were up 3-0."

In Game 6, the Astros was hitting with confidence and was leaving everything out on the field. Houston had 11 base hits in the game that sprung runs. They finished off the Rays 7-4. On the defensive side of the ball, the Astros Rookie pitchers have silenced a once thunderous offensive Rays team. Houston rotated their pitchers to make sure that they bring in a fresher pitcher. It has worked so far and the Astros are on the verge of heading back to the World Series if they can pull off the victory.
