Note From Author: I will be drafting based on all ORIGINAL Picks. Meaning the Browns are back at number 2 with the trade between the Jaguars and them never occurring.

I am also taking in account for future potential and not redrafting SOLELY on 2025 performance, although their 2025 season will be heavily impactful toward this exercise.

This is NOT my picks for Rookie of the Year odds nor my opinion of who had the best rookie seasons, rather my opinion, ranking and picks for who are the BEST players in this class, and who each team would draft today.

Re-Draft

1. Cam Ward, QB

Tennessee Titans

Original Pick: Cam Ward, QB

There was some question whether the Titans should go with Dart instead but Ward was the better prospect on Draft Day a year ago and he is still the better prospect today. Bigger, more arm talent and did more this season with less around him, Ward showed me a lot in 2025 now it's up to the Titans to give him the necessary supporting cast.

2. Jaxson Dart, QB

Cleveland Browns

Original Pick: Travis Hunter, WR/CB (JAX)

Because the Browns-Jaguars trade "never happened" in this exercise, the Browns are back at 2 and looking at what happened this season, I can't help but to think they wish they had taken a Quarterback. Jaxson Dart has the highest ceiling of any QB in this class and even though he wouldn't have the same help in Cleveland as he does in New York, the Browns would still rather have him.

____________________________

3. Tyler Shough

New York Giants

Original Pick: Abdul Carter, OLB

Since they just missed out on their QB of the future, the Giants need to take a replacement so they get Tyler Shough who came out in the final 10 games of the season and looks like he could be the real deal. His fit in New York would be pretty good and he'd even get the same chance so sit for a few games and develop just as Dart did.

____________________________

4. Kelvin Banks Jr.

New England Patriots

Original Pick: Will Campbell, OT

Now that the Quarterbacks are out of the way, the Patriots are going to go offensive line again but I actually have them taking Kelvin Banks instead of Will Campbell this time around. Don't get me wrong, Campbell had a good rookie season and his fit in New England works but Banks was the better player this year. A much bigger Tackle who did much better in pass protection would give Drake Maye even more time.

____________________________

5. Travis Hunter

Jacksonville Jaguars

Original Pick: Mason Graham, DT (CLE)

The Jaguars don't trade up and still land the Heisman Travis Hunter in this exercise. Even though he only played half the season, Hunter showed me enough to say he's a game changer on offense and will have a future on defense as well.

____________________________

6. Will Campbell

Las Vegas Raiders

Original Pick: Ashton Jeanty, LV

Campbell doesn't have to wait long and goes only 2 picks after he did last April. The Raiders need to build from the trenches and Campbell may even play the interior on this line because the Raiders need it all. I still love Campbell as a prospect and if he went to the Raiders it may take longer for him to come out of his shell, but I'm confident he'd still be good.

____________________________

7. Carson Schwesinger

New York Jets

Original Pick: Armand Membou, OT

My #1 rookie after their first season is Carson Schwesinger and he falls all the way to the Jets who should be more than happy to take him. Schwesinger has changed how teams gameplan against the Browns defense and will be a Pro Bowler in this league and after the defensive season the Jets just had, they could certainly use that.

____________________________

8. Tetairoa McMillan

Carolina Panthers

Original Pick: Tetairoa McMillan, WR

Technically my third pick that stays the same so far, Tet McMillan goes #8 and stays in Carolina even though he's likely to win OROY. The Panthers don't have too many holes to fill on this team and that's because of how McMillan changed this offense.

____________________________

9. Emeka Egbuka

New Orleans Saints

Original Pick: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT

In my head even though McMillan had the better season, Egbuka may have emerged as a better prospect this season but I can't see the Panthers taking anyone different and the Saints would be MORE than happy to take a kid that torched them twice this season.

____________________________

10. Ashton Jeanty

Chicago Bears

Original Pick: Colston Loveland, TE

The Bears were rumored all offseason last year to like Ashton Jeanty so I believe if he's still there at 10 this would be an easy pick. Seeing how good Monangai did in this offense and the fact that Loveland didn't come into his own until the end of the year, this pick would have to be favorable to anyone in Chicago.

____________________________

11. Nick Emmanwori

San Francisco 49ers

Original Pick: Mykel Williams, DE

Mykel looked decent this season before injury but we all knew he was a development pick that was expected to come into his own in seasons 2 and 3. Instead, let's take the athletic freak Nick Emmanwori who would captain this secondary for years to come, not to mention take him away from their division rival.

____________________________

12. Tyler Booker

Dallas Cowboys

Original Pick: Tyler Booker, OG

The Cowboys hit a home run with this pick as they always do with first round-lineman Tyler Booker so if he is still on the board in this exercise they have to double down and take him again.

____________________________

13. Tyler Warren

Miami Dolphins

Original Pick: Kenneth Grant, DT

The Dolphins drafted Kenneth Grant who still has good potential in this league but was one of the biggest disappointments in his rookie year. Instead, let's give them help with my #5 rookie of the class and someone that would have taken a LOT of the burden off of Tua this season in Tyler Warren who would be the #1 option in Miami without Tyreek Hill.

____________________________

14. Mason Graham

Indianapolis Colts

Original Pick: Tyler Warren, TE

If the Colts miss out on Warren, getting a prospect like Mason Graham would be a great consolation prize. Graham is still a Top-10 prospect in this class to me but had a very slow start on the Browns before picking his game up toward the end of the season.

____________________________

15. James Pearce Jr.

Atlanta Falcons

Original Pick: Jalon Walker, OLB

The Falcons originally took Walker here then traded back into the First to get Pearce at 26. Little did they know they only needed Pearce and the 10.5 sacks he got in his rookie season, and to be honest the fact he's dropped all the way to #15 is pretty astonishing to me.

____________________________

16. Abdul Carter

Arizona Cardinals

Original Pick: Walter Nolen, DT

Speaking of falling... I know Carter only got 4 sacks but he consistently beat Tackles and had a good rookie season. I was never quite as high on Carter as a prospect but he's definitely worthy of a Top-10 pick much less falling to 16.

____________________________

17. Jihaad Campbell

Cincinnati Bengals

Original Pick: Shemar Stewart, DE

The Bengals had all kinds of distractions this season when it came to getting their original pick Shemar Stewart on the field so I believe they'd love to bring in a guy like Campbell who not only had the same production as Stewart but could also bring the Linebacking talent they would later draft in the second round as well with Demetrious Knight.

____________________________

18. Tate Ratledge

Seattle Seahawks

Original Pick: Grey Zabel, OG

The Seahawks finally drafted an offensive lineman when they needed one and while Grey Zabel had a decent rookie season, Tate Ratledge from Detroit was easily the best Guard of this class and someone that could've made the Seahawks rushing even better.

____________________________

19. Will Johnson

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Original Pick: Emeka Egbuka, WR

Let the world know I was begging for Will Johnson to be a Top-10 pick last season even with his injury concerns. Because they can't take their OG pick again, taking a guy that could really help their secondary would be almost as good.

____________________________

20. Cam Skattebo

Denver Broncos

Original Pick: Jahdae Barron, CB

Jahdae Barron was a surprise pick that I really loved for this defense that unfortunately didn't gel as well as I thought it would. Instead, let's give the Broncos the playmaker they sorely need in Skattebo who easily could've been Top-10 if he never got hurt.

____________________________

21. Xavier Watts

Pittsburgh Steelers

Original Pick: Derrick Harmon, DT

One of if not the best draft sleepers of this class was Notre Dame and Atlanta's Xavier Watts. The best coverage Safety of this rookie class, Watts would've solved some of the problems the Steelers had in their back end this season.

____________________________

22. Tre Henderson

Los Angeles Chargers

Original Pick: Omarion Hampton, RB

I had Henderson just above Hampton before the draft last year and we won't know until next season when he returns whether that was true but for now, Henderson is clearly the better player that the Chargers could have really leaned on this year.

____________________________

23. Nohl Williams

Green Bay Packers

Original Pick: Matthew Golden, WR

Another sleeper, Nohl Williams may not be the best corner of the draft but with his limited experience in Kansas City this year, it looks like his potential is off the charts. Green Bay didn't get the #1 guy out of Matthew Golden they were looking for so I bet they would've loved to get a Corner that would likely take over that group.

____________________________

24. Malaki Starks

Minnesota Vikings

Original Pick: Donovan Jackson, OG

Malaki Starks was my #6 prospect before the draft but didn't play close to what I thought he would in Baltimore. Still, as a prospect I believe in his future in the league and with Minnesota likely to lose Harrison Smith soon to retirement, he;d have the chance to develop and learn under the best.

____________________________

25. Armand Membou

Houston Texans

Original Pick: Jaxson Dart, QB (NYG)

Armand Membou didn't have a great rookie season but he didn't have a bad one either. Being that it was on the Jets, that's a positive for me and would likely be better than the Texans second round pick Aireontae Ersery anyway.

____________________________

26. Jahdae Barron

Los Angeles Rams

Original Pick: James Pearce Jr., OLB (ATL)

Barron got lost in the fold of the talented Denver defense last year but is still a great prospect and a future leader in this league. Adding him to the Rams squad that needs a Nickel would be too great of a fit.

____________________________

27. Jalon Walker

Baltimore Ravens

Original Pick: Malaki Starks, SAF

The Ravens may have had a bad season but it was mostly do to injury, meaning there aren't a lot of holes to fill for them. Drafting Jalon Walker who was one of the top prospects available and a versatile pass rusher would be like a cherry on top for them.

____________________________

28. Donovan Jackson

Detroit Lions

Original Pick: Tyleik Williams, DT

Tyleik Williams might take a while to get there but showed flashes this season. With the Lions' O-line needing some retooling especially in the middle, let's give them Donovan Jackson who can also double as a Tackle if needed.

____________________________

29. Nic Scourton

Washington Commanders

Original Pick: Josh Conerly Jr., OT

Josh Conerly is not to far down on my prospects list but Scourton is definitely higher and maybe a better fit as well. Scourton was an elite prospect heading into the draft and showed ability to defend the run and pass alike that the Commander's defense reeeeeeeeally needed.

____________________________

30. Maxwell Hairston

Buffalo Bills

Original Pick: Maxwell Hairston, CB

The 6th player to stay on the same team that drafted them, Hairston is still a good fit on Buffalo and the future of their CB-room. His blazing speed and man coverage will make him a good to great Corner for years to come.

____________________________

31. Josh Simmons

Kansas City Chiefs

Original Pick: Jihaad Campbell, LB (PHI)

They may have traded down in the original draft to get Simmons but they'll stay put this time around. Simmons has been a solid Tackle in pass protection even if he had some trouble with penalties this year but should be on the Chiefs' line for some time.

____________________________

32. Harold Fannin Jr.

Philadelphia Eagles

Original Pick: Josh Simmons, OT (KC)

The Eagles always get one of the steals of the draft as they did with Jihaad Campbell at 31 last year, but this time around let's address a position a lot of people have them taking in the 2026 draft and get Harold Fannin who succeeded in Cleveland his rookie season, a feat that almost makes him legendary already.
