Top 20: Elite, League-Winning Core Players

The top 20 of my 2025 big board is all about players who can single-handedly swing a fantasy matchup. Saquon Barkley, Ja’Marr Chase, Christian McCaffrey, and Justin Jefferson are the stars of the show, boasting elite workloads, consistent production, and sky-high weekly ceilings. New-age workhorses like Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs are making waves with expanded roles that position them as top-tier PPR assets. Rounding out the elite wide receivers are CeeDee Lamb, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Nico Collins—each a target hog capable of exploding for 30+ points any given week.
In the back end, veterans like Derrick Henry and Jonathan Taylor still deliver that old-school volume and red-zone dominance. Meanwhile, up-and-comers like Brian Thomas Jr., Puka Nacua, and Malik Nabers show promising WR1 potential. At tight end, rookie Brock Bowers makes the list thanks to his rare athleticism and projected target share in Las Vegas.
The final spots in this tier are filled by Kyren Williams, Bucky Irving, Drake London, and Chase Brown, all of whom combine youth, upside, and significant projected touches in their respective offenses.
Picks 21–60: Proven Stars, Breakout Potential, and Roster Stability
The 21–60 range is where this board builds depth and positional flexibility. You’ll find established names like Josh Jacobs, Alvin Kamara, Mike Evans, A.J. Brown, and Davante Adams, who provide managers with reliable weekly production. Then there are players like Tee Higgins, Garrett Wilson, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who have the potential to break into the elite tier if their situations improve.
Quarterbacks start to come into play here, too, with Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Jalen Hurts offering elite dual-threat scoring. Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow add rushing upside and passing efficiency to the mix. In the running back category, Kenneth Walker III, James Cook, and De’Von Achane bring big-play potential even in committee situations, while rookies TreVeyon Henderson and Omarion Hampton could be poised for late-season breakouts.
The rookie class at receiver stays relevant with names like Marvin Harrison Jr., Jameson Williams, and Rome Odunze, while veterans like Chris Godwin and Terry McLaurin provide dependable floors. Tight ends George Kittle and Trey McBride will also offer solid TE1 production for those who decide to skip on Brock Bowers early on.
Picks 61–100: Depth, Upside Swings, and Late-Season Lottery Tickets

The 61–100 range focuses on roster insurance and high-upside bench stashes. Veteran backs like Aaron Jones, Joe Mixon, David Montgomery, and Isiah Pacheco serve as reliable RB2/flex options, ready to step up if injuries strike. Young runners like Quinshon Judkins (barring any legal troubles), D’Andre Swift, and Chuba Hubbard could break into starting lineups with favorable workloads.
At wide receiver, steady veterans like Calvin Ridley, D.K. Metcalf, Stefon Diggs, and Chris Olave mix with volatile upside plays like Xavier Worthy, Jordan Addison, and Jakobi Meyers. Quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, Jared Goff, and Justin Herbert offer strong QB2 or superflex options depending on your league format.
Tight end depth is covered by Mark Andrews, T.J. Hockenson, David Njoku, and Evan Engram—all capable of delivering top-5 weeks based on matchups.
Late picks like Travis Hunter, Emeka Egbuka, and Matthew Golden, all rookies, are long-term upside swings who could emerge as fantasy starters by midseason. In this range, the focus shifts from immediate every-week starters to players who can keep a roster afloat during bye weeks and potentially turn into league-winning pieces down the stretch.

Zak's 5 Biggest Steals

Alvin Kamara - The Saints offense will be horrendous this year but Kamara will get so many touches he will make up for it at the end of the year. Especially in PPR leagues, Kamara may end up being a Top-10 RB easily.
Jakobi Meyers - I don't understand why Meyers is so low, he hit 1,000 yard with Minshew and O'Connell throwing him the ball. With Geno Smith, he should do even better in 2025.
Baker Mayfield - I have very high expectations for Baker and the Buccs this year. The O-line and receiving core got better this off season so I can see Baker getting 4,500 yards and 40+ TDs easy.
Mark Andrews - Andrews started off slow last year but finished with the most TDs of any TE. As the biggest red zone-threat on the team, he's bound to have a better first half this season and return to a Top-5 TE.
D'Andre Swift - He won't quite ascend to Jahmyr Gibbs-level but with Ben Johnson in town, Swift should see an uptick in yards-per-carry and a lot more receptions this season.
Zak's 5 Biggest Busts

Jayden Daniels - I've been pretty vocal about my belief of Jayden Daniels' sophomore slump this season. Add Scary Terry's trade request to the mix and Daniels fantasy output is going to be highly-dependent on his rushing stats.
Ashton Jeanty - Jeanty is going to be a PHENOMENAL running back in the league I jut believe it'll take him 2 season to do it similar to Bijan. A modest 1,1oo yards and 10 TDs without much receptions should have him finish around RB 15.
RJ Harvey Jr - Harvey has garnered a lot of hype from some experts but the Broncos RB depth is such that Dobbins and McLaughlin will take a lot of touches away from him. Dobbins should even start the season as RB1.
Bucky Irving - Once Rachaad White is back I believe Irving will remain RB1, but his snaps will also be limited with White and Sean Tucker getting carries as well. Make matters worse, White will be the receiving back and I see most of the Buccs TD's coming through the air this season.
Omarion Hampton - I could put the same entry for Jeanty here for Hampton except Hampton will have more competition. Najee Harris's eye injury will heal and when he comes back to the team will be a huge part of their run game especially on the goal line.
