Week 10 is in the books, and we inch even closer to fantasy football playoffs. Here is a list of some players who can make the biggest impact moving forward. As always, each player in this list is available in over half of ESPN leagues.
Quarterback
Jacoby Brissett (Arizona Cardinals) - Despite the Cardinals having a rough afternoon against NFC West rival Seattle Seahawks, quarterback Jacoby Brissett salvaged a good performance in garbage time. Brissett threw for over 250 yards and had 2 touchdowns. He now faces a San Francisco defense that has battled injuries all season and ranks 20th in the league. It is a good opportunity for him to put up another solid performance for fantasy managers who need a quarterback boost.
Running Back
Tyler Allgeier (Atlanta Falcons) - Allgeier took over more redzone touches for the Falcons instead of Bijan Robinson. Allgeier looked great in Germany against the Colts, putting up over 17 points. With him getting more redzone touches, he could be a touchdown machine, especially against the Carolina Panthers, who are coming off a bad loss to the Saints.
Wide Receiver
Tez Johnson (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) - Johnson had a good day against the Patriots despite the loss. He caught four of five passes for 42 yards and two touchdowns. Since scoring his first NFL touchdown against the 49ers in Week 6, Johnson has scored 10+ points in three of the last four games, with his last one being a 20+ point day. He aims to be a key target for the Bucs as they face the Buffalo Bills this coming Sunday.
Tight End
Theo Johnson (New York Giants) - Johnson has been solid as of late, scoring 10+ points in three of his last four starts. He caught seven of eight for 75 yards in New York’s loss to Chicago on Sunday. He faces a favorable matchup against Green Bay’s 26th-ranked secondary defense. Johnson is rostered on 45% of teams, so if he is available, snag him while you can.
Defense/Special Teams
Dallas Cowboys - I know. You are probably thinking I am crazy for putting the Cowboys' defense as an option after repeatedly going with matchups against them on these lists. However, the Cowboys face a struggling Raiders offense, which should be a good matchup. Dallas could be a sneaky good pick defensively.
