NFL getting strict with players breaking safety protocol

New York- The National Football League will be cracking down on players if they decide to break the Covid19 protocol.



The NFL is attempting to make the players and staff feel safe during the upcoming season by fining people who break protocol. Players who refuse to submit to a COVID-19 test will receive a written warning, according to a memo to players that were sent earlier this week. Repeated violations will result in a maximum fine of $50,000. Each NFL team will have three COVID coordinators to make sure everyone is safe.


The NFL protocols will be Players and coaches are required to take a test twice and have it come back negative, daily testing for the first two weeks of training camp, if tested positive, no travel, no access to facilities, and no direct contact with players or coaches. Refusing to practice social distancing or refusing to wear a mask could result in a fine or suspension.
