Sportz Nation - 10/20/2026

1. Kansas City Chiefs
5-0 /\ 1
Last Week: 22-6 Win vs LAC
The Chiefs have are back and even though the Chargers teamk they beat has been awful this week, that's still a very good, divisional roster they completely dominated.
2. San Francisco 49ers
6-0 \/ 1
Last Week: 24-17 Win vs WAS
The 49ers remain undefeated even though they were outscored 14-3 in the second half. This team keeps on rolling.
3. Denver Broncos
4-2 --
Last Week: 17-14 Win vs SEA
Denver keeps up with their toughest schedule in the NFL after another hard fought win, this time against the reigning Super Bowl champs.
4. New England Patriots
4-2 /\ 1
Last Week: 26-19 Win vs NYJ
Drake Maye has his 3rd great game in a row as the Patriots keep showing us that maybe last year wasn't a fluke. Mike Vrabel has made a few head scratching calls though... just something to keep your eye on.
5. Buffalo Bills
5-1 /\ 2
Last Week: 33-30 Win at LV
The Bills are still one of the best offenses in the league but one of the worst defenses. 17 will be the difference maker more times than not but they're now allowing the 5th most points per game.
6. Minnesota Vikings
5-0 /\ 3
Last Week: BYE Week
Even on their BYE Week, Minnesota's defense barely allows less points than they would have otherwise. The Vikings' offense may not be great but this team just wins.
7. Seattle Seahawks
3-3 /\ 1
Last Week: 14-17 Loss at DEN
The Seahawks may be 3-3 and coming off a BYE but their defense is still elite. Sam Darnold is bringing this team down with his play, but it's something he can clean up... probably.
8. Jacksonville Jaguars
4-2 \/ 4
Last Week: 34-31 Loss vs HOU
The Jaguars will leave England with a 1-1 record that really should be 0-2 after a tough couple of weeks. Their defense had their worst game of the season last week but it shouldn't hamper them for long. I still lvoe the Jags this year.
9. Chicago Bears
4-2 /\ 5
Last Week: 31-23 Win at ATL
Caleb is back, and even though this defense gave up 16 points in the 4th quarter, the Bears look to be back as an offensive powerhouse and could rise up these ranks soon.
10. Cincinnati Bengals
3-2 --
Last Week: BYE Week
Hopefully for the Bengals, their defense gets back on track in their BYE week. Joe Burrow and company will hold it down on offense and if this defense can get back to their first two weeks-form this team could get a lot higher than #10.
11. Detroit Lions
3-2 --
Last Week: BYE Week
The Lions defense is somehow the worst in the league which makes it a huge compliment to their offense that they're still somehow #11.
12. Carolina Panthers
3-2 /\ 3
Last Week: 25-14 Win at PHI
I believe in Bryce Young. #1 passing offense, #2 total offense and #4 scoring offense is unbelievable out of a guy we wanted the Panthers to cut just last season. Still, they NEED to clean up their run defense.
13. Los Angeles Rams
2-4 \/ 7
Last Week: 16-18 Loss vs ARI
The Rams now drop to 2-4 after losing at home to the Cardinals and I just... I don't know man. The potential is obviously there but this team is severely underperforming.
14. Baltimore Ravens
4-2 \/ 2
Last Week: 10-13 Loss at CLE
The Ravens are still a good team who's defense is starting to REALLY become a problem. Let's see how they do when Lamar comes back.
15. Green Bay Packers
4-2 /\ 6
Last Week: 23-13 Win vs DAL
Don't look now but the Packers have won 3 in a row and have allowed only 11 points per game in that span. Jordan Love is cooking right now as well and Josh Jacobs is set to come back this week.
16. Houston Texans
2-4 /\ 3
Last Week: 34-31 Win vs JAX
The Texans started the season 0-4 but have now won two divisional games in a row. CJ Stroud is easily having his best season of his career too and this Texans team is definitely trending upward.
17. Cleveland Browns
4-2 /\ 6
Last Week: 13-10 Win vs BAL
The Browns are 4-2 and are leading the AFC North right now. Their defense is still very good and Deshaun Watson may not be great every game, but he hasn't really had a bad game since Week 1 either.
18. Las Vegas Raiders
3-3 \/ 1
Last Week: 30-33 Loss vs BUF
The Raiders offense is still pretty good but after starting the season 3-0, they've lost their last 3 and have given up 36 points per game in that stretch, even granted it was to the Chiefs, Patriots and Bills and in admittedly insane stretch of schedule.
19. Atlanta Falcons
2-4 \/ 3
Last Week: 23-31 Loss vs CHI
The Falcons are inconcistent but still have potential. Michael Penix has been playing well but they were outed as a pass rush-reliant defense this week and couldn't get anything going against the Bears until the 4th quarter.
20. Dallas Cowboys
2-4 \/ 2
Last Week: 13-23 Loss vs GB
The Cowboys defense is definitely below average but their offense has been underperforming these past few weeks as well. Dak needs to be superman and I don't think he can be too much longer.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers
3-3 /\ 3
Last Week: 26-19 Win at TB
Defense and Aaron Rodgers being somehow back in his prime has allowed the Steelers to get back to .500. How much longer can you trust that to contiune though?
22. Philadelphia Eagles
2-4 \/ 9
Last Week: 14-25 Loss vs CAR
The Eagles are the most injured team in the league and prayers go out to Jalen Hurts. This team still plays well despite their injuries but I couldn't put them any higher.
23. New York Jets
2-4 \/ 1
Last Week: 19-26 Loss at NE
The Jets defense is bordering on elite even with their 2-4 record and this team came very close to coming back against the #4 Patriots. Still, I don't think they really know how to win.
24. Arizona Cardinals
2-4 /\ 6
Last Week: 18-16 Win at LAR
Speaking of knowing how to win, the Cardinals now have both of their wins this season at SoFi stadium and just had their best defensive game of the season. Kudos.
25. New Orleans Saints
2-4 /\ 2
Last Week: 34-27 Win at NYG
Tyler Shough didn't go off like he had in Weeks 1-3, but he was efficient and the Saints' defense did their job at least for 3 quarters. This team continues to show flashes.
26. New York Giants
3-2-1 \/ 6
Last Week: 27-34 Loss vs NO
The Giants should be officially moving to the JJ McCarthy-era this season and I don't know if that's better or worse than Jameis Winston but either way it's bottom tier.
27. Washington Commanders
1-4-1 /\ 1
Last Week: 17-24 Loss at SF
The Commanders were close to making that a game in San Fran but Jayden Daniels and Dan Quinn continue to make bonehead mistakes so there's no chance I'd believe in them as a team more than anyone else higher on this list.
28. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
1-5 \/ 2
Last Week: 19-26 Loss vs PIT
The Buccs gave it their all and their defense once again looked good, but there's only so much you can do without your Franchise QB especially against the Steelers' defense.
29. Tennessee Titans
1-5 /\ 3
Last Week: 20-26 Win at IND
The Titans fianlly got their first win and did so against a divisional rival. Cam Ward and Carnell Tate looked the best I've ever seen them. They won't make the Playoffs or anythiung but that game might have just shown us their two young stars true potential.
30. Indianapolis Colts
2-4 \/ 5
Last Week: 26-20 Loss vs TEN
Daniel Jones needs to be benched and the Colts' defense needs to get some life in them. As a Colts fan, this season has been hard to watch. Jonathan Taylor is being called for trades and if Indy actually makes that move, it's clear they've given up on the season already as they just fired their GM Chris Ballard too.
31. Los Angeles Chargers
0-6 \/ 2
Last Week: 6-22 Loss at KC
The only team with 0 wins in 6 games this year is the Charegrs and yes, they haven't had the easiest of schedules but this team stinks. Their O-line is garbage and even their defense and Justin Herbert, (the two reasons they even made the playoffs last season) have been horrendous.
32. Miami Dolphins
0-5 \/ 1
Last Week: BYE Week
Hahahaha, even on a BYE Week this team still loses a spot on this list. Go figure.
