MVP -

Baker Mayfield

Runner-Up: Lamar Jackson

F*$! IT, BAKER FOR MVP. Not only do I think Baker will lead the Buccaneers to the 2-seed this year but I think he will throw for a stat line close to, 4,700/40/10. Throw in a rushing TD or two in there and have moments of him crotch-chopping or throwing the money signs in the air and you have a picture-perfect MVP candidate everyone will love to vote for.

Lamar comes in 2nd for the second year in a row and can make an argument that he should have won 3 MVP awards in a row.

Super Bowl MVP -

Lamar Jackson

Runner-Up: Roquan Smith

For his performances in the big game and in all 4 playoff games Lamar Jackson takes the Super Bowl MVP. After being snubbed for another regular season award, I think Lamar would gladly lose for the second year in a row to take home the greatest prize in the sport.

I feel like rookie Malaki Starks or Derrick Henry could be the runner-up here but I feel better about Roquan getting something like 15 tackles and a sack.

Coach of the Year -

Todd Bowles

Runner-Up: Mike Vrabel

After putting together a 12-5 season and a masterful offense, Todd Bowles rightfully earns this award. Bowles and Mayfield were both rejected multiple times and after finding themselves in the wake of Tom Brady and Bruce Arians are finally on top of the mountain.

In his first year as Patriots' Head Coach, Vrabel took the 4-13 team to a 9-8 Wild Card appearance. Not to be outshined by the GM Eliot Wolf, who should also be recognized for his work this off season.

Comeback Player of the Year -

Christian McCaffrey

Runner-Up: Aidan Hutchinson

CMC should easily win this award if he plays 14 or more games this season. With the 49ers in the midst of a slight rebuild, CMC will be the focal point of an offense that needs to produce after giving Purdy $265 Million.

Aidan Hutchinson could also easily win this award but with the loss of DC Aaron Glenn, I believe his sack total doesn't exceed 12ish and voters choose McCaffrey instead.

OPOY -

Joe Burrow

Runner-Up: Saquon Barkley

Another year of the defense wasting a year of Joe Cool means he needs to get some kind of award. Assuming he throws for another 4,000 yard and 40-TD season and STILL misses the playoffs, saying this award is earned would be an understatement.

Saquon won this award last year and if he doesn't hit the vaunted 2,000 rush yard mark for the second year in a row, I believe voters will overlook him in favor of Joe.

DPOY - T.J. Watt

Runner-Up: Micah Parsons

T.J. Watt has had 6 seasons in a row where he played more than 10 games of 10+ sacks. With only one DPOY to his name and a shiny, new $41 Million/year contract, look for Watt to earn his money while surrounded by maybe the best Steelers' defense we've seen in a long time.

Parsons doesn't have a shiny new contract yet but he will for sure be playing for one this season. Look for Parsons to also get around a 17-sack mark so he can set the Edge market next off season.

OROY -

Ashton Jeanty

Runner-Up: TreVeyon Henderson

Jeanty has to be the odds-on favorite for this award and for good reason. One year removed from the greatest college-RB season since Barry Sanders in the '80s, the only way Jeanty DOESN'T get this award is if the Raiders drag him down.

There's several runner-up contenders this year but my bet is on Henderson who I believe becomes RB1 in New England before mid-season.

DROY -

Jahdae Barron

Runner-Up: James Pearce Jr.

This was one of my absolute favorite picks in the draft. Barron's versatility, toughness and heart is the ideal player for Denver and he should be the starting NB from Day 1 and a leader of this unit by season's end.

JPJ was drafted alongside Jalon Walker to transform Atlanta's poorly-looked after pass rush and I believe they will. I can see JPJ getting a double-digit sack season and Walker adding 4 or 5 more.
