Week 1: vs Dolphins
In a common theme for this exercise, the Colts roster might be better than the Dolphins' on paper and their defense definitely is. Unfortunately, poor QB play may cost them against a high-powered offense like the Dolphins.
Prediction: Dolphins 23-20

Week 2: vs Broncos
The Broncos may be one of the up and coming teams in this league and their stifling defense will be too much for the Colts even if they had a good Quarterback.
Prediction: Broncos 27-17
_______________________________
Week 3: @ Titans
In the first divisional game and road game of the year, the Colts travel to Tennessee where they've had a lot of success. The defense will shine here especially against a young QB like Cam Ward.
Prediction: Colts 21-16
_______________________________
Week 4: @ Rams
Couple a long west coast road trip against a good team in the Rams with a high-pressured defense against either Daniel Jones or AR, this game will likely be a high-scoring affair that won't turn out well for the Colts.
Prediction: Rams 33-27
_______________________________
Week 5: vs Raiders
This time the long road trip will be in the Colts favor as a battle of two defensive teams. The Colts front seven should do good against an incomplete o-line and their offensive weapons will do just enough to make their QB look good.
Prediction: Colts 24-20
_______________________________
Week 6: vs Cardinals
Another beneficiary of a long road trip, the Cardinals come to Indy and this matchup might benefit the home team too. A versatile offense led by Kyler Murray should be contained by the front seven and the offense should dominate the line of scrimmage. This might be the biggest "upset" for the Colts this season.
Prediction: Colts 28-17
_______________________________
Week 7: @ Chargers
Another long road trip and this time against a team that could seriously do some damage against the defense. The Chargers offense has only gotten better and is led by offensive genius Greg Roman and with their home field advantage, shouldn't struggle too much against the Colts.
Prediction: Chargers 31-21
_______________________________
Week 8: vs Titans
In their second divisional game against the Titans, this one will be back at home and if the Colts can beat the Titans on the road, they can do it again here.
Prediction: Colts 26-23
_______________________________
Week 9: @ Steelers
The Steelers should really be picking up momentum and getting better at this point in the season and with their defense being amongst the most elite, I wouldn't guess either of the Colts QBs to put up any fight here.
Prediction: Steelers 24-10
_______________________________
Week 10: vs Falcons
Another good matchup for the Colts with the Falcons defense still a ways to go. The Falcons offense however may be one of the most dynamic as long as sophomore QB Michael Penix continues his progression. If Penix slings the ball here against a growing secondary, this game could turn ugly.
Prediction: Falcons 28-27
_______________________________
Week 11: BYE WEEK
Currently sitting at 4-6, the Colts BYE week comes right before the toughest part of their schedule. With the Colts being underdogs for the remaining 7 games on their schedule, the BYE week will need to get the boys together and hopefully sure up any holes in the team, especially the QB play.
_______________________________
Week 12: @ Chiefs
Fun fact, the Colts are 11-3 against the Chiefs since 1990 and 2-0 against Pat Mahomes. That being said, it would take either Colts' QB their greatest game ever as a pro to pull out this win at Aarowhead.
Prediction: Chiefs 28-17
_______________________________
Week 13: vs Texans
In their 3rd divisional game and first meeting with their hated rivals, the Texans will come to Indy. Another game where the Colts might have the better roster on paper, the Colts will need a great game from their QB. If the defense plays as well as they are capable of, I can actually see this being a big upset even if it's at home.
Prediction: Colts 24-21
___________________________________
Week 14: @ Jaguars
The Colts have not won a game in Jacksonville since September 21, 2014. With both teams in a very similar position roster-wise, I have to go with the history on this one.
Prediction: Jaguars 31-23
___________________________________
Week 15: @ Seahawks
Another west coast trip against a good team in Seattle and the Colts will need every bit of defense to win this one. This game is definitely winnable, but with Mike Macdonald's defense getting even better this offseason, look for this low-scoring affair to slip away from them.
Prediction: Seahawks 20-13
___________________________________
Week 16: vs 49ers
The 49ers in 2025 are far from the NFC Champions just a year and a half ago. While they still have a lot of superstars on both sides of the ball, they also have glaring holes on both trenches a team like the3 Colts could really exploit. That combined with a favorable home game versus the west coast and I can actually see a win here.
Prediction: Colts 31-27
___________________________________
Week 17: vs Jaguars
This game is a real toss up and if playoff implications for the Jaguars are up for grabs, they will probably take it. That being said, besides a possible defensive stud in Travis Hunter, the Jags defense wouldn't be good enough to stop an Indy offense if AR or Daniel Jones plays good and since that hasn't been showcased at all this episode, let's give them this one in a much needed divisional win.
Prediction: Colts 23-21
___________________________________
Week 18: @ Texans
With playoff seeding definitely a factor for the Texans in this one and the Colts having to go to Texas, this game will likely be a wash and see the full extent of the Colts now 7-10 season.
Prediction: Texans 33-21
___________________________________

The Colts end this exercise with a 7-10 record, including a 4-4 record at home and a VERY surprising 4-2 record within the division.
As stated multiple times, the Colts' roster as a whole may actually be Top-10 in the league, however a lack of consistent QB play will hurt them. Another big difficulty this season will be their road trips, going to the West Coast 3 times and visiting teams such as the Chiefs, Jaguars and Steelers too.
They don't even need an elite season from Richardson. If they could get a solid and healthy season from him along with their very good defense and great running game, they could definitely make the playoffs.
As it is now though, I don't see that happening and truth be told, a 7-10 record in this exercise may be generous.
