Team Overview

One of the best franchises in the NFL seemingly every year, the Packers added and subtracted this offseason. With a LOADED skill position group headlined by a deep WR room, the offense could legitimately be among the best in the league this year. Their defense has a very talented roster and is always coached well but they have a huge hole... their Corners. A glaring hole in an otherwise complete roster, the Packers may give up a lot of points this season to pass-friendly teams and that will give them a ceiling.
Even more unfortunate for Love and company is the division they play in, which has 3 of the best passing teams in the league. An uber-competitive NFC North saw 3 teams make the playoffs last season and the only team not to got a lot better this offseason.
The Packers have a real shot to end up 1st in their division or all the way at the bottom. Let's see where they SHOULD end up by breaking down their schedule, game-by-game

Week 1: vs Lions
A barnburner in Week 1 pits the Lions and Packers together in Green Bay. In the series that's seen the Lions win 6 of he last 7, give me the Packers to take advantage of the Lions who lost a lot of important coaches last season.
Prediction: Packers 31-28

Week 2: vs Commanders (TNF)
Another home game but on short notice for Thursday Night Football. The Commanders may have an explosive offense but I do not trust their D. In a shootout, give me the home team Packers who all-around, have a better roster anyway.
Prediction: Packers 37-31

Week 3: @ Browns
In a road game to Cleveland, don't count out the Browns. Their Quarterback room may be as unpredictable as any in the league but their defense will be legit again next year. A low-scoring slugfest, the Packers better roster should be able to outlast them still.
Prediction: Packers 20-17
___________________________________
Week 4: @ Cowboys (SNF)
One of the most classic matchups in all of Football, the home field advantage may rear it's ugly head in this one. The Cowboys may have an incomplete roster to say the best, but where it shines are the Packers weaknesses. The Cowboys pass game
Prediction: Cowboys 23-21

Week 5: BYE Week
An early BYE week is never ideal but it does come after the Packers first loss of the season which give them a chance to assess. The Packers have a rollercoaster of a second half of the season including 6 matchups with teams in the playoffs last season and 3 more with upcoming teams.
___________________________________
Week 6: vs Bengals
Included in the "upcoming teams" list, the Bengals come to Green Bay after two weeks of prep. The Bengals pass game will be a lot to deal with for this young secondary and will make a shootout almost inevitable. Even with the extra prep time, this one may be too difficult of a matchup.
Prediction: Bengals 35-28

Week 7: @ Cardinals
After an embarrassing loss last week, a road trip to Arizona won't make things any easier. With a high-potential offense and defense thanks to moves of the last two years, a home field game for the Cardinals may prove for a late-game upset win.
Prediction: Cardinals 26-20
___________________________________
Week 8: @ Steelers (SNF)
Back on primetime after a 3-game loss streak, the Packers have hit a breaking point in their season. With 9 games to go, this may be their most important against the always difficult Steelers. Against their former Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, I can see the Packers skill and emotion running wild in this huge win.
Prediction: Packers 23-17
___________________________________
Week 9: vs Panthers
Another game that could come down to the Packers' secondary, the Panthers could pose a threat here. Thankfully, the offense should overwhelm them and even if it comes to a shootout, should give them the win.
Prediction: Packers 31-27
___________________________________
Week 10: vs Eagles (MNF)
On a primetime Monday night game at home, the Packers will need to play their best game of the season to escape with a win. Unfortunately, the defending Super Bowl champs will be to hard to beat in all 3 phases of the game.
Prediction: Eagles 24-21
___________________________________
Week 11: @ Giants
The Giants retooled defense may really cause problems next season and could really slow down the Packers pass game. I can see this one full of turnovers on both sides with the Packers pulling out a win late in the game.
Prediction: Packers 17-14
___________________________________
Week 12: vs Vikings
For the first Vikings matchup of the year, the Packers are at home and have won 3 of their last 4. The Vikings should have another great year as long as McCarthy stays healthy but their home field advantage should allow them to win.
Prediction: Packers 28-23
___________________________________
Week 13: @ Lions
After winning their last game, the Packers now head to Detroit where they have a huge hill to climb. Historically speaking, the Lions should win at least one game and at home they'll take it.
Prediction: Lions 31-24
___________________________________
Week 14: vs Bears
First Bears matchup comes deep into the season and this is not the Bears roster that lost 11 in a row to the Packers. Caleb Williams now has a lot of help on the field and sideline and will be a huge problem this season. This one barely goes to the home team but a statement is made.
Prediction: Packers 23-20
___________________________________
Week 15: @ Broncos
The Broncos are another team that should be even better that last year and facing them at home will be daunting to anyone. The Packers have the coaching and roster to do it but with the Broncos defense possibly the best in the league, they will probably earn a tough-nosed victory here.
Prediction: Broncos 20-10
___________________________________
Week 16: @ Bears
Victors in their last matchup, the Packers have to travel to Solider Field this time with the Bears looking for revenge. The Bears pass game will be too good for the Packers secondary the second time around and would win in this shootout.
Prediction: Bears 41-28
___________________________________
Week 17: vs Ravens (TBD)
Back at home in a pivotal playoff-seeding game for both teams. This game could come out to whatever team has the ball last and even though their underdogs on paper, I just have a feeling the Packers pull off a huge comeback in the end.
Prediction: Packers 28-27
___________________________________
Week 18: @ Vikings (TBD)
At 9-7, this game will be for a playoff spot and could be even for the division depending on the way things pan out. Back in Minnesota, the secondary once again has a bad game but the Packers still find a way to outduel the Vikings for the win.
Prediction: Packers 34-31
___________________________________

In this exercise, the Packers end up going 10-7 with a 6-2 record at home and a 4-2 record in the NFC North.
The Packers poor CB room causes them to lose several games they'd win otherwise and truth be told, this team should be around the 12-13 win territory. The offense will do a lot of heavy lifting only scoring less than 20 points twice.
A playoff game will be waiting for the G men at the end of the year and a favorable matchup could legitimately see this team get all the way to the NFC Championship. With a great coach and almost complete roster, the Packers are on the cusp of being a Super Bowl threat this season.
