Rockets Trade Their Future for Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant has been traded to the Houston Rockets. In return the Suns got Point Guard Jalen Green, SF Dillon Brooks, the #10 pick in this week's 2025 NBA Draft and 5 2nd-round picks.

Kevin Durant is 36 years old and averaged 26.6 points, 6 rebounds and 4.2 assists last year in 62 games for Phoenix. Durant is also on the last year of his contract in a season where he will turn 37-years old.

Houston's future looked very promising and was led by their star Guard Jalen Green and now they've shipped him away for a one-year rental in what could make them a Top-3 team in the West next season.

For Phoenix's sake, this deal should shape their future the same way OKC's future was made by trading away Paul George.

This blockbuster and shocking deal will no doubt shake up the NBA for years to come.
