ROUND 1 (Pick 31)

Mike Green - Edge Rusher

Mike Green will likely be pushed down the board thanks to the strong D-line group in this class and would be a perfect DE in the Chiefs system. Needing a stronger edge, the Chiefs will keep him over Tackle or outside the box and have him all-out rush every down.

Donovan Jackson - Guard

Donovan Jackson may be the most underrated player in the draft. With skill and versatility fitting a Top-25 pick, Jackson would be a terrific addition as a Guard to the Chiefs line especially if Trey Smith leaves after this season.

ROUND 2 (Pick 63)

Andrew Mukuba - Safety

The Chiefs have drafted, developed and let walk several great Safeties in the league today and Mukuba could easily be the next in line for this. His "center fielder" ball-hawking ability would be a perfect compliment for Bryan Cook's box-safety role.

Mason Taylor or Elijah Arroyo - Tight End

Owen Gray may be a solid backup but he will not be able to fill Travis Kelce's shoes once he retires which will likely be after this season. I would take Elijah Arroyo first if both are available but either will replicate the receiving ability of Kelce quickly.

ROUND 3 (Picks 66 and 95)

Aireontae Ersery - Tackle

Another line improvement, if Jackson isn't taken in Round 2, Ersery would be a beautiful development Tackle for the Chiefs if they have the patience. In their current state, the Chiefs have 3 or 4 potential Tackles they'd like to develop and Ersery may have as much potential as any currently rostered.

Marcus Mbow - Guard

Mbow may never be Tackle worthy but he will be able to swing out on occasion if needed, and he will be a great pass blocking guard in the NFL either way. His size isn't ideal but his technique and hands are as sound as any.

Aeneas Peebles - D Tackle

Peebels is a very fun pick here for the Chiefs as he is the polar opposite in size of Chris Jones. A pass rushing DT yes, Peebles is similar in the mold of Calijah Kancey in Tampa and could be used in multiple roles along the D-line.

Tory Horton - Wide Receiver

The #1 receiver of the class before the season started, Horton is a route running specialist with good hands and great size for the position. Horton would be in the thick of the cluster of Kansas City receivers but could be a Top-3 option in the midst of his rookie contract.

ROUND 4 (Pick 133)

Logan Brown - Tackle

Brown would be a great addition in the same way Ersery was, a good developmental Tackle with plus side traits; in Brown's case it's his raw athleticism and size. Brown tested insanely at the Combine and could be another Suamataia on the Depth Chart.

Gunnar Helm - Tight End

Helm is here if they don't go for a TE in the second round. Helm's upside as a pass catcher and a slot receiver is massive in the league as long as the Chiefs don't rely on any blocking from him.
