The GIANTS Need To Draft THESE Players

ROUND 1 (Pick 3)

The Giants #3 pick will be almost certainly guaranteed to draft Hunter or Carter. The selection will most likely be whoever the Browns do not.

Travis Hunter - Cornerback

Hunter will become CB1 and WR2 if he lands in New York. His zone coverage would be elite along the Giants new personnel of Paulson Adebo and Jevon Holland. On offense, he would line up with Malik Nabers to make one of the scariest young WR cores we've seen in a very long time.

Abdul Carter - Edge Rusher

The Giants truly can't go wrong because if they miss on Hunter, Abdul Carter would also be elite in their defense. Imagine a pass rush of Brian Burns, Abdul Carter and Dexter Lawrence on the interior. Just scary.

ROUND 2 (Pick 34)

Josh Conerly Jr. - Tackle

Their second pick should address the offense and if Josh Conerly is still available, he should be the top of their list. A pass blocking Tackle that will not only keep pockets clean for the G-men and at the very least, cause Evan Neal to either get his stuff together or to finally be cut.

Jaxson Dart - Quarterback

A legitimate pick for the Giants would be to take Dart at 34 and have him learn behind Jameis and Russ for a year or two and take the reins. The Giants may try to tank for Arch Manning in next year's draft but if not, a sophomore Dart may be a great piece to build around.

ROUND 3 (Picks 65 and 99)

Quinn Ewers - Quarterback

Quinn Ewers has the IQ and arm to be in a legitimate Round 1 discussion but his injury history has made teams weary. Ewers will have the same stash and develop temptation as Dart but in Round 3 and for $1 Million/year less on his rookie deal.

Kyle Kennard - Edge Rusher

The 2025 College Football Defensive Player of the year should still be available at 65 and will bring skill and production as well as heart and leadership to a desperate Giants defense. Kennard is on the small side and needs some refinement in his pass rush moves but would still be a steal for the Giants.

Dorian Strong - Cornerback

A backup in case Hunter isn't there at 3, Strong would be a "strong" CB 3 candidate for the Giants with massive upside. A fast and athletic corner with good size, Strong will need to work on his Zone Cover IQ but could develop into a starting corner in a few years time.

ROUND 4 (Picks 105)

Brashard Smith - Running Back

A 4-th round player I love, Smith is a super talented 3-down back with great ball carrier moves and soft hands that will make him a great receiving threat. For a 4th rounder, Smith could be the ideal backup to Tyrone Tracy next season and many more after that.

Aeneas Peebles - D Tackle

I'm very hesitant to have Peebles go this high unless he's in the right scheme and a blitzing 3-4 alongside Dexter Lawrence is legitimately the BEST possible scheme for him to be in. Peebles would be an every down pass rusher in the 3-technique and allow Lawrence to take more snaps off while lossening pressure of double teams on the interior.
