Waiver Wire Pickups Week 2

Quarterbacks

Bryce Young
I know the Panthers just let up 59 points to the Bears but their offense looked like the best version we've seen in years. Young's 32.03 points saw 4 total TDs, 361 yards through the air and only 1 turnover. The Panthers have given Young a better O-line and more weapons to throw to and I don't think he will keep this up all season but he's clearly a Top-20 QB in the league worthy of being your backup QB at least.
Jacoby Brissett
We know what we're going to get with Brissett, he wont get more than 2 TDs or 300 yards but he also won't turn the ball over. His 14.33 points from Week 1 will probably be his average for the season with the Cardinals clearly looking to throw the ball often.
Drew Lock
Initial reports say that Sam Darnold should be out for 3-6 weeks so Drew Lock will be running things for Seattle. Even if I don't have high hopes for this offense, JSN is a top receiver in the league and if your fantasy team is truggling at the QB spot after only Week 1, Drew Lock is worth taking a flyer on.
Running Backs
Devin Singletary
Behind Cam Skattebo, the Giants will need either Singletary or Tracy to step up and after Week 1, Singletary looks to be the RB2 especially in the passing game. Singletary was the only RB to get a reception including a check down touchdown but also was 3rd on the team in total targets last week as the clear receiving back for the Giants moving forward.

Emmett Johnson
Emmett Johnson had a decent day in his NFL debut last night but his inclusion on this list is due to the Chiefs CLEARLY prioritizing the run this season. Kenneth Walker is the guy for sure but he won't go off like that every week and in those weeks the Chiefs split carries more, Johnson should be a breakout candidate to stash on your bench.
Wide Receivers

Jalen Coker
Coker is technically rostered in 61% of Yahoo rosters so maybe he isn't a Waiver Wire pickup but if he's available in your league, pick him up now. He hurt his ankle and will have a quieter Week 2 but he should be fighting for targets with Tet McMillan all season from the much-improved Bryce Young and Panthers' offense.
Devaughn Vele
With Jordyn Tyson on IR, Devaughn Vele was the clear #2 behind Chris Olave for New orleans and took extreme advantage of it. Tyler Shough was eye-opening in Detroit and looks to be ready ot throw the ball 40 times a season so if Vele is available especially in deeper leagues, he is absolutely worth a roster spot and even a starter spot on teams.
Caleb Douglas
Caleb Douglas is the bonafide #1 receiver on the Dolphins, which is kind of like saying he's the fastest kid at fat camp. For fantasy though, Douglas should be a shoe-in for 8-12 targets a game and even if he doesn't break 100 yards, he'll be worth it in PPR leagues and for touchdown-upside.
Tight Ends

Mike Gesicki
When the Bengals get back to throwing the ball to Ja'Marr Chase 15 times a game, Gesicki's numbers will go down but they should maintain to a point that he's a fantasy starter as long as Burrow's healthy.
Evan Engram
Not sure exactly what we saw from the Broncos yesterday but it does seem like Bo Nix isn't going to favor one receiver in his offense and that's great for guys like Engram. In fact, the fact that the Broncos have so many options allowed Engram to go unnoticed in a huge 20-yard touchdown we could see happen more than a few more times this season.
