Quarterbacks (Zak Drapeau)

1. Josh Allen at NYJ
2. Lamar Jackson vs CLE
3. Justin Herbert at LV
4. Jalen Hurts at KC
5. Joe Burrow vs JAX
6. Kyler Murray vs CAR
7. Justin Fields vs BUF
8. Jordan Love vs WAS
9. Patrick Mahomes vs PHI
10. Jayden Daniels at GB
11. Baker Mayfield at HOU
12. Jared Goff vs CHI
13. Dak Prescott vs NYG
14. Aaron Rodgers vs SEA
15. Caleb Williams at DET
Last week solidified that Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson will likely be 1 and 2 on my list every single week.
The next tier starts with Justin Herbert, who made a statement last week that the Chargers are ready to throw the ball more this year, and boy, did he look good. Hurts, Burrow, and Murray finish off Tier 2 thanks to easier games for the latter and Jalen Hurts' ability to make any play with his legs.
In Tier 3, Fields, Love, Mahomes, and Daniels are up here because they all had better weeks than I thought they would last week and are one great week away from being among the Tier 2 QBs for the future. Mahomes' and Daniels' matchups are much tougher, so they have to be closer to 10 for me.
The final 5 on this list either have tough games ahead or didn't perform in Week 1. Aaron Rodgers and Baker Mayfield were the toughest to place on the list; Rodgers will not be dropping 4 TDs a game this season, and Houston's defense looks legit enough to give Baker fits this week.

Running Backs (Matt Hylen)

Christian McCaffrey vs NO
Derrick Henry vs CLE
Kyren Williams vs TEN
Jamyr Gibbs vs CHI
Breece Hall vs BUF
Saquon Barkley vs KC
De'Von Achane vs NE
Bijan Robinson vs MIN
Chase Brown vs JAX
Ashton Jeanty vs LAC
Johnathon Taylor vs DEN
Travis Etienne Jr vs CIN
Bucky Irving vs HOU
James Connor vs CAR
James Cook vs NYJ
With the exception of Derrick Henry, this week I went solely on a matchup-based basis. Since it is so early in the season, it is too soon to make predictions based on Week 1 performances alone. With that said, I think this week will see a lot of top-heavy performers at the running back position.
I have McCaffrey taking the number 1 slot over a guy like Henry (who could be seen as a 1B) for a multitude of reasons. The matchup is perfect, and with Kittle and Purdy hurt and out multiple weeks with injuries, CMC will be even more heavily relied upon than he would have been anyway. I see 25+ touches for McCaffrey with a mixture of rushing and passing game opportunities, with red zone usage high.
The top 5 should be head and shoulders above the rest this week. The matchups that McCaffrey, Henry, Williams, Gibbs, and Hall all have are heavily favored towards them, thus making them elite fantasy performers in my eyes in Week 2.
As for the rest of the list, I think a lot of these RBs’ performances will be touchdown-reliant. Guys like Barkley, Brown, and Taylor will all get significant touches, but they may need a touchdown to get the fantasy performance managers are hoping for. Other guys like Cook, Robinson, and Achane should be more reliable in PPR formats, but have been inefficient on the ground.
Overall, I think this week will be much better for running backs after a series of duds in Week 1.

Wide Receivers (Matt Hylen)

Ja'marr Chase vs JAX
Justin Jefferson vs ATL
Puka Nacua vs TEN
Ceedee Lamb vs NYG
Nico Collins vs TB
Amon Ra St. Brown vs CHI
Jaxon Smith-Njigba vs PIT
Malik Nabers vs DAL
Drake London vs MIN
Brian Thomas Jr. vs CIN
Garrett Wilson vs BUF
Ladd McConkey vs LV
Courtland Sutton vs IND
AJ Brown vs KC
Zay Flowers vs CLE
The top-tier wide receivers had a massively disappointing Week 1 as a whole, but I think that changes this week. Guys like Chase, Collins, Thomas Jr., and St. Brown are far too talented and critical parts of their offense to be ignored a second week in a row. Plus, those guys, as well as receivers like Thomas Jr., Nabers, and London, all have favorable matchups in Week 2.
Ja'Marr Chase comes in as my number one, and it really was not a tough decision. Cincy's offense always starts slow to begin seasons, so there is no better way to come out firing than against the Titans, who have a poor defense. Chase was the consensus #1 fantasy player for a reason, and I think he will return to that level of status in Week 2.
The mid-tier of players that I have ranked should all give WR1-level production. Guys like Smith-Njigba, Garrett Wilson, and McConkey are coming off great Week 1s, which should continue given their Week 2 matchups.
Don’t sleep on these low-ranked receivers as well. Guys like Sutton, Brown, and Flowers could all explode in Week 2, giving your team the boost it needs for a win.
This should be an easy bounce-back week for your receivers. Expect your WR1 to produce at the level they are expected to, as there are very few matchups within the top 15 receivers that I do not like.

Tight Ends (Zak Drapeau)

1. Trey McBride vs CAR
2. Sam LaPorta vs CHI
3. Travis Kelce vs PHI
4. Tucker Kraft vs WAS
5. T.J. Hockenson vs ATL
6. Tyler Warren vs DEN
7. Dalton Kincaid at NYJ
8. Evan Engram at IND
9. Jake Ferguson vs NYG
10. Hunter Henry at MIA
11. Juwan Johnson vs SF
12. Mark Andrews vs CLE
13. Zach Ertz at GB
14. David Njoku at BAL
15. Michael Mayer vs LAC
Tight ends are just a mishmash of underperformers, as not one TE topped 11 points in non-PPR leagues last week. To top it off, there are several elite TEs that are either injured for Week 2 or have been on the injury report all week and will come back to the field in a limited capacity.
Trey McBride is easily my #1 this week, but every TE from spots 2-7 has a chance to be the top guy this week.
While everyone is going to be very TD-dependent, look for the rookie Tyler Warren to remain Indy's #1 option and Jake Ferguson potentially to excel in his prime matchup vs. the Giants.
Toward the bottom of the list, I think Juwan Johnson will try to prove he's one of New Orleans' best options, while a player like Las Vegas' Michael Mayer has a great opportunity to prove he is more than a blocking Tight End with the likely absence of Brock Bowers. Both Johnson and Mayer's offensive schemes are TE-reliant; they just have to prove they can step into the role. Meanwhile, players like Mark Andrews and David Njoku need to prove that they even belong up here anymore.
