I don’t understand what all the fuss is about Jill Biden being addressed as Dr. Jill Biden. We all know I’m not a fan of her and her husband but to make this an issue is counter-productive and hypocritical.
Jill Biden graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Delaware in 1975, she worked as substitute teacher and continued her education as she completed her Master’s of Education degree while pregnant at West Chester State College. In 1987, Biden received her second graduate degree, this one a
Master of Arts in English from Villanova University. Biden later returned to school for her doctoral degree, studying under her birth name, Jill Jacobs. In January 2007, at age 55, she received a
Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in educational leadership from the University of Delaware. Her dissertation, Student Retention at the Community College: Meeting Students' Needs was published under the name Jill Jacobs-Biden.
Clearly she has earned the credentials to have the title. I don’t recall anyone scoffing or making fun of the late but still great Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr... as his doctrine was not in medicine either.
Believe me when I tell you Jill and her husband have plenty of things to attack, this is not one of them, it’s a petty and and pathetic argument and only serves to diminish any real criticism geared towards her and her husband. Let’s move on people.
