Zak's Changes From Last Week

USC, TCU and Mississippi State Debut in Rankings

USC may have been in the Associated Press' poll last week but they debut at #22 in my poll this week. TCU debuts at 24 in both my poll and AP's as well and for the last spot, I decide to give Mississippi St the nod over BYU and Memphis.

Miami up 2 to #3

Miami is now 4-0 including 3 wins against teams who are or who have been ranked this season. Holding Florida to under 10 points for the first time this season was impressive but still not as impressive as Carson Beck has been since transferring to Miami.

Indiana up 7 to #9

The most impressive win so far this season came this week when Indiana embarrassed Illinois 63-10. Indiana's offense could not be stopped and dominated every phase of the game from start to finish proving last year was no fluke.

Texas Tech up 8 to #13

Another impressive victory was in Utah when the visiting Red Raiders thrashed the Utes. Tech's offense has been impressive all year but after their first win against a ranked opponent made them 4-0, their starting to push for Top-10 status.

Illinois and Utah Drop

Thanks to the last 2 games we talked about, the Illini and Utes have massive drops this week. Illinois go from #8 last week to 21 while the Utes fall off the list entirely. These are two teams I expect to be in contention for the playoffs by the end of the season still but their resumes were seriously tarnished this weekend.
