1. Philadelphia Eagles /\2

Last Week: 10-7 Win at GB

7-2 ( Won 3 in a Row)

Last night wasn't pretty but it was a good example why the Eagles may not be everyone's "Best" team in the league but why they are the safest. The Eagles' defense is the strength of this team and even though their offense hasn't matched it's success yet, they are still great and seemingly getting better.

2. Detroit Lions /\2

Last Week: 44-22 Win at WAS

6-3 (Won 2 of Last 3)

I struggled with the Lions and Eagles at my top spot but their Home loss last week was the big factor. The Lions' roster is the best in the league at the moment and Jared Goff's play this year has been immaculate. The Lions are one of 3 teams that I would say have REAL Super Bowl ambitions and they are all in the NFC...

3. Los Angeles Rams /\3

Last Week: 42-26 Win at SF

7-2 (Won 4 in a Row)

The Rams round out my Top-3 for the first time this year and it's a shame it took me this long. Matt Stafford is having the best season of his career at the same time the Rams are having their best defensive season in years. On the roll they've been on, the only shot a team has to beat them is a fluke of a Rams-road trip or a herculean effort by another top team.

4. Seattle Seahawks /\3

Last Week: 44-22 Win vs ARI

7-2 (Won 4 in a Row)

The Seahawks are riiiiiiiight there for my "Elite Top-Tier" but I can't get over the fact that Sam Darnold shouldn't be doing what he's doing. Everything about the team including Darnold's season has been incredible ESPECIALLY the defense. #4 is a great ranking for a team that in my opinion has a QB that could throw 3 interceptions in any game.

5. New England Patriots /\4

Last Week: 28-23 Win at TB

8-2 (Won 7 in a Row)

The Patriots have crossed the threshold from "Surprising Upstart" to "Very Good Team" after now beating the Buccs and Bills on the road and amassing a 5-0 away record. Drake Maye is a legitimate MVP candidate and their defense is among the Top-10. Their strength of schedule and circumstance (Both Bills and Buccs were heavily injured) has some to be desired but still, the Pats are here.

__________________________________

6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers \/4

Last Week: 28-23 Loss vs NE

6-3 (Lost 2 of Last 3)

The Buccaneers just lost at home for the 2nd time this season and even though their offensive were missing it's Top-3 playmakers, Baker was still elite. In the losing effort, the Buccaneers' secondary was thoroughly thrashed but still almost led a comeback effort at the end of the game.

__________________________________

7. Buffalo Bills \/6

Last Week: 30-13 Loss at MIA

6-3 (Won 2 of Last 3)

What was that...? I swear every time the Bills look like they've got back on track they fall flat and prove that this year's Bills is a dropoff from where they've been over the last 6 or 7 years. Their defense is shaky at best and Josh Allen is having too many turnovers. Still, even when they're playing their worst ball the Bills are #7.

__________________________________

8. Denver Broncos \/3

Last Week: 10-7 Win vs LV

8-2 (Won 7 in a Row)

The Broncos defense has been great all year but their offense has somehow looked worse and worse over the last 3 weeks especially. Maybe it was TNF and a divisional game but for both teams, that game was absolutely horrible and worse for the Broncos, they looked horrible against a bad Raiders' defense.

__________________________________

9. Kansas City Chiefs \/1

Last Week: BYE Week

5-4 (Won 3 of Last 4)

Aghhhhh... I don't know. Some parts of me think the Chiefs might be a 9 or 10 win team and lose in the first round and some part of me think they haven't even started and are saving their best games for the Playoffs. Either way, the Chiefs are toward the bottom of the "Aiming for the Super Bowl" Tier.

__________________________________

10. Indianapolis Colts /\1

Last Week: 31-25 Win vs ATL

8-2 (Won 5 of Last 6)

The Colts may be the highest seeded team in the NFL but they are still missing something. Jonathan Taylor is amazing this year but they only have 1 good win on the season and long gone are the days where they were beating teams by 20+.

__________________________________

10. Green Bay Packers \/1

Last Week: 10-7 Loss vs PHI

5-3-1 (Lost 2 in a Row)

The Packers have one of the best rosters in the sport but somehow are not winning games they really should. They had the chance to win that marquee game against the Eagles but Jordan Love couldn't do anything against the Philly defense. The loss of Tucker Kraft has seemed to make this team look even worse on offense.

__________________________________

12. Los Angeles Chargers --

Last Week: 25-10 Win vs PIT

7-3 (Won 4 of Last 5)

The Chargers are still banged up on their O-line but they are beginning to win despite of it and that is a scary thought. If this team gets their O-lineman back for the Playoffs, SERIOUSLY watch out for LA.

13. Baltimore Ravens /\2

Last Week: 27-19 Win at MIN

4-5 (Won 3 in a Row)

I told everyone that this team would be back once Lamar got healthy and after a 3rd win in a row including a tough road win in Minnesota and are now only 1 game back from the AFC North title.

__________________________________

14. San Francisco 49ers --

Last Week: 42-26 Loss vs LAR

6-4 (Lost 2 of Last 3)

The 49ers may be the most banged up team in the league but their coaching tandem of Shanahan and Saleh may be the best. Their 6-4 record isn't indicative of this team who have losses to the Rams and Buccs now.

__________________________________

15. Chicago Bears /\5

Last Week: 24-20 Loss at CHI

6-3 (Won 6 of Last 7)

Don't look now but yes, the Bears have won 6 of their last 7 and have only lost to the Ravens. Caleb Williams hasn't taken the "Elite" step we thought he might yet but this team is finding ways to win even if their S.O.S. isn't great.

__________________________________

16. Minnesota Vikings --

Last Week: 27-19 Loss vs BAL

4-5 (Lost 3 of Last 4)

The Vikings have lost 3 of their last 4 and their only win is a road win in Detroit. J.J. McCarthy looks like he could be pretty good but whether the team can't find ways to win or they don't have the chemistry to, they should be better than this.

17. Houston Texans /\2

Last Week: 36-29 Win vs JAX

4-5 (Won 2 of Last 3)

The Texans are starting to look better and better and are doing so even without C.J. Stroud. If the Texans' defense can continue it's #1 status and Stroud comes back healthy, the Texans will be VERY much in the race for AFC Wild Card.

__________________________________

18. Pittsburgh Steelers \/1

Last Week: 25-10 Loss at LAC

5-4 (Lost 3 of Last 4)

The Steelers have fell off over the last few weeks and like the Vikings, have a signature HUGE win in between several bad losses. Aaron Rodgers hasn't been bad at all this season but if this defense keeps playing mediocre, Rodgers will need to play a lot better if the Steelers want to win some games.

__________________________________

19. Jacksonville Jaguars \/6

Last Week: 36-39 Loss at HOU

5-4 (Lost 3 of Last 4)

Fun Fact of the Day: Trevor Lawrence has the 2nd worst Passer Rating in the League only above Cam Ward. The Jaguars started hot but have lost 2 in a row after their win vs Kansas City and after letting the Texans comeback from 29-down, they don't look like they're getting any better.

__________________________________

20. Carolina Panthers \/2

Last Week: 17-7 Loss vs NO

6-4 (Lost 2 of Last 3)

The Panthers were just starting to look really good after 5 wins in 6 weeks and beating the Packers at home and then they lose at home to the 1-8 Saints. Bryce Young has been bad the past month and now they can't even beat the worst team in their division.

__________________________________

21. Atlanta Falcons --

Last Week: 28-23 Loss vs IND

3-6 (Lost 4 in a Row)

The Falcons have now lost 4 in a row and even though they've kept it close in all 4, they're starting to lose their edge on offense and Bijan has been slowing down. This team has a chance to still be competitive down the stretch but not much more than that.

__________________________________

22. Arizona Cardinals --

Last Week: 44-22 Loss at SEA

3-6 (Lost 6 of Last 7)

The Cardinals have some hope with Jacoby Brissett now at the helm but not when facing good teams like the Seahawks. They need to scrap this game and move forward as they try to salvage a season where realistically they could still win 3 or 4 more games.

23. Miami Dolphins /\5

Last Week: 30-13 Win vs BUF

3-7 (Won 2 of Last 3)

With his job likely on the line and against the best team of their division, the Dolphins had their best game in over 2 years. Creating turnovers and making big plays on offense, this Dolphins team has been missing for a while and while it's VERY unlikely we see more of them this season, they could surprise some people down the stretch if they do.

__________________________________

24. Washington Commanders \/1

Last Week: 44-22 Loss vs DET

3-7 (Lost 5 in a Row)

The Commanders are looking bad and getting worse quick. Luckily Jayden Daniels avoided IR and could be back in 3-to-4 weeks to hopefully salvage what already seems to be a lost season.

__________________________________

25. Dallas Cowboys \/1

Last Week: BYE Week

3-5-1 (Lost 3 of Last 4)

Hopefully the Cowboys' learn how to play defense on their BYE week or their tough season will end bad. That is all.

__________________________________

26. Cincinnati Bengals \/1

Last Week: BYE Week

3-6 (Lost 6 of Last 7)

Same with the Bengals, you have an extra week... learn some defense.

__________________________________

27. New York Giants \/1

Last Week: 24-20 Loss at CHI

2-8 (Lost 5 of Last 6)

The Giants have FINALLY fired Brian Daboll and I actually believe they could be better off for the rest of the season for it and definitely will be after being one of the best Coaching opportunities this offseason.

__________________________________

28. New York Jets /\3

Last Week: 27-20 Win vs CLE

2-7 (Won 2 in a Row)

I swear to you I saw a video that said, "If you weren't a fan at 0-7, don't be a fan when we're 2-15," and that is the perfect summarization of the Jets 2025 season. Watch out for a potential trap game in New England this week though on TNF.

__________________________________

29. New Orleans Saints /\1

Last Week: 17-7 Loss at CAR

2-8 (Lost 3 of Last 4)

The Saints' rookie Tyler Shough just had a HUGE game in Carolina and maybe... things are looking up in New Orleans? Probably not but Shough might be good enough to move the Saints out of the "Tanking" Tier.

30. Cleveland Browns \/3

Last Week: 27-20 Loss at NYJ

2-7 (Lost 5 of Last 6)

The best team of the "Tanking" Tier, the Browns are 1 of 2 teams that haven't won on the road this season and after losing to the Jets this week I can't see them winning any on the year and should be picking in the Top-3 next year.

__________________________________

31. Las Vegas Raiders \/2

Last Week: 10-7 Loss at DEN

2-7 (Lost 7 of Last 8)

I don't know what's next for the Raiders who were supposed to be in the first year of a "Quick Rebuild" have now not even started what will become a long rebuild next year. And to make matters worse, I don't think Pete Carroll will be the man to start this rebuild.

__________________________________

32. Tennessee Titans --

Last Week: BYE Week

1-8 (Lost 4 in a Row)

The Titans are the worst team in the league but at least they have a QB who could possibly be their future. The last team with only 1 win, they are the odds on favorite to have the #1 pick for the draft and could salvage this rebuild by trading it.
