Ainge Out as Celtics President & GM, Stevens to move to front-office
The Boston Celtics, on the heels of a dramatic flame out in the first round of the NBA Playoffs to the Brooklyn Nets, will shuffle the deck in the front office as they head into the off-season. Longtime President and GM Danny Ainge, a legend as a player and an architect of the 2008 title run, will step down effective immediately. Current, soon to be former, Head Coach Brad Stevens will transition into an unnamed but full-time front office role, likely expected to be a GM type
