Fans Only Sportz Network, the premier live-streaming service in the New England region, announces today that it has submitted a bid for the Cranston Schools streaming services contract.
The network, part of the RLR Enterprises family of companies, has been in the forefront of the Cranston community and Cranston Athletics for roughly five years now.
Helmed by CEO Ron Robert, the Warwick, RI based network, features roughly 30 employees, some with major television network experience, and many interns from the varying Rhode Island colleges. It has a deep production capacity which allows the ability to produce and broadcast up to 5 games at a time. The flexibility of having a manned production broadcast allows FOSN to be able to bring events such as Ice Hockey, Softball, Baseball and more which are sometimes not played at standing school facilities to the parents and family members around the country. A manned production also ensures that all necessary equipment is in working order, properly maintained and any technical issues can be immediately troubleshot by the on-site producer.
“We know the frustration that many families and fans have had with the quality of the automated streaming broadcasts over the past few years. As a company local to the area, the state, and the region, this hurts our hearts. The athletes playing deserve to have their games broadcast at a level equal to the quality of their play and the schools and programs deserve to receive value for what they spend on the services.” added CEO Ron Robert.
Fans Only Sportz Network has a desire to assist in growing the viewership and visibility of the sports and the schools by creating professional content at an affordable cost. The broadcasts for all sports feature full animated graphics with complete timing, scoring and statistical information and each game is given a value of entertainment via its commentary from professional play-by-play and color commentators who are knowledgeable about the teams, players, and the sport they are broadcasting.
Outside of the high school realm, Fans Only Sportz Network is the home of non-varsity college sports for University of Rhode Island, Providence, Bryant and others. It has also broadcasted East Coast Football League and National Box Lacrosse League action on the semi-pro / pro level this summer.
