The approach of Tropical Storm Henri, the first system to make a direct landfall impact on the Southern New England area since Hurricane Bob in 1991, has begun to make precautionary cancellations of events around the Ocean State occur.
The first victim to the schedule is Sunday's non-conference matchup in Women's Soccer between the Univ. of Rhode Island and Univ. of Maine. The matchup will not be rescheduled, sending the Rams onward to their next match on August 29th versus another regional rival in the Northeastern Huskies from the CAA.
