The Boston Celtics have traded superstar Guard Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers for veteran Paul George, Philly's 2028 1st-round pick, Philly's 2031 1st-round pick and two 2nd-round picks in 2028 and 2030.

Brown has been publicly shopped around the league over the past few weeks by the Celtics over a reported contract dispute from the Celtics' side.

Brown is owed $182 Million over the next 3 seasons and is coming off of his best season as a pro where he led the Celtics to a 2nd-place regular season standing as well as averaged 29-7-5.

Shams Charania reported earlier this week that the Celtics were asking for 4 1st-round picks for Brown. The package they ended up receiving was no where close to this price and includes an aging and injury-prone Paul George who is owed $110 Million over the 2 years left in his deal.

Early specualtion is that this move was made under duress from Boston's management and this deal is one of the worst in Brad Stevens' terrific career as Boston's GM.

Make sure to stay up to date as we continue coverage of the Celtics' offseason and follow the Jaylen Brown trade.
